Google Reader

Google Reader is a free tool that makes it easy to stay on top of updates (new blog posts, news) from your favorite blogs or websites. This is particularly useful for websites that have frequent changes/updates. Instead of you going to check each site to see if anything is new, Google Reader will display the updates to all the sites you've added there. For readers of many blogs/sites, Google Reader or other RSS Aggregators becomes almost essential for productive use of one's online reading time. As educators, we can use Google Reader to follow and read educational blogs. In essence, it helps you form a PLN (Personal Learning Network).
iPad/iPhone users can also use the free Mobile RSS app or Reeder. Feedly is available for mobile devices and computers.
